I have posted several times before in my previous blog about the benefits and negatives about Zillow. Another alternative that I have used in the past is Cyberhomes. I haven’t posted much about Cyberhomes in the past due to the fact that I simply felt like they didn’t quite have it down. Well, yesterday I was reading some real estate news and came across an article discussing the new Cyberhomes site.

So today, I spent some time clicking around the new website and will have to say that I was very impressed. My first impression when I got to the site was that it had an image that really caught my attention. I did notice that there seemed to be a limitation on condos as I could not find several units I was interested in. However, once I put in a address of a physical home…a whole new world of info opened up.

To be fair…I priced this home on Zillow as well and Zillow had it about $20,000 higher…an amount in my opinion still possibly a little low. Besides that though, I loved the wealth of information that was available in a very clean, crisp format through Cyberhomes.

While I do believe that these websites will always simply offer just a broad figure of what your home is worth…it is worth going and checking out. I haven’t had an opportunity to truly click around Cyberhomes yet but it looks like it has even more information that I could ever imagine. It will likely be a site that I will recommend my clients use when they are searching for a home.

Go ahead…give it a try…I’d love to hear your feedback on Cyberhomes v. Zillow.
