Ok, Ok…I have to apologize to all my faithful readers. Those of you who see or speak to me often already know all the changes that have taken place over the past month and a half. Real Estate is a highly changing market and I had to make sure to make changes and position myself with it. Well, over the next few minutes I will try to give a brief synopsis of the changes that I have made to add value to my clients and my own personal business.

Being on my own for the first 14 months of my real estate career was quite a challenge yet accomplishment. I was continuing to move forward and my business was sitting at a breaking even position, not bad for a new agent in a slow market. However, I wanted to position myself to get even farther ahead and offer more value to my clients. I began lightly exploring new opportunities.

Right when one door opened…it seemed like many more did. One of the opportunities that quickly flew into my radar came from an acquaintance I had in the Woodinville area. This is one of the top Realtors in this area and she was highly respected. One afternoon while I was in Spokane with family I received a phone call from her asking if she could sit down with me and have a few minutes. I was NOT looking to become someone’s helper or assistant as I wanted to make it in this business under my name. However, I chose to at least speak with this contact.

Well, after speaking with her it was just one of those decisions that I knew I had to make. She presented a really great opportunity to join her team which has actually seen an increase in business in the past 9 months. After almost 15 years in real estate, she is currently having her most successful year.

So, I moved to the RE/MAX Woodinville office and joined the Rhonda Greer Real Estate team. Unfortunately, not long after joining the Woodinville office decided to consolidate with the other RE/MAX NW offices and we were forced to relocate again…well kinda. I currently sit in my old Woodinville office with the air off and no one else around. Our license is in Kirkland’s office but we are hoping to open up a working location somewhere in the same area we used to be.

In the future my blog may get a little more into my personal everyday dealings. I have never been so busy in Real Estate in my life but am absolutely loving all the business and referrals. There is a reason that Rhonda has gained so much respect and her marketing plan is unbelievable. My goal now is to spend the next couple of years growing Rhonda’s business and gleaning as much knowledge as possible so that I will be a better Realtor someday when I am on my own again. Who knows what will happen in two years…but I can honestly say that I personally am in the best position to use my talents that I have ever been in.

Be ready because my blog is going to rock…and you are going to see why I enjoy Real Estate so much. Let’s enjoy this journey through a slower market together as we continue to delve into the wonderful world of Real Estate.
